Here is a link to the video of the governor’s Q & A session following the “Securing a Clean Energy Future” plenary session with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and Jeffrey R. Immelt, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of General Electric Company, who both spoke to the role that role businesses can play in advancing energy and environmental innovation.

The first question came from Governor Granholm, who asked what policy measures governors could “rally around” to help unite Congress and the country on these initiatives. Watch the video to see the answer to that question-

“I am determined to create a new industrial revolution in Michigan by replacing lost manufacturing jobs with green jobs”.
